As a student at ArtCenter, I found that the rigorous demands of my coursework often precluded me from fully appreciating our stunning hillside campus, a marvel of architecture perched atop a hill in Pasadena. Given creative liberty in this project, I chose to magnify and elongate a brief 5-minute walk along the campus hallway—a testament to my belief that every fleeting moment is precious. Each memory, be it joyous or somber, etches a lasting imprint on our psyche.
Love Letter 2023
This piece emerged from my exploration in the 'Intro to Transmedia' class. It marked my initial foray into using reflective acrylic. In my experiments, I stumbled upon the mesmerizing effect created when a rotational movement is applied to the mirror. The result is hypnotic, echoing the hurried lives many of us lead, often bypassing the beauty that surrounds us daily.
